Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?
Unfortunately, I am unable to process international orders at this time due to logistical concerns. As the production capacity available to me improves, I should be able to offer more and better shipping options!

How long will it take for my order to be processed before it ships?
As of right now, I'm one guy with one working 3D printer who already works a full-time job completely unrelated to this. That said, your business is very important to me, and I will do my best to process your order in a timely fashion. If you are placing either a custom order or an order for an item not currently in stock, it will typically take me anywhere from three to five days to fabricate the individual components (bearing in mind that currently I can only print one lampshade or base OR set of numbers at a time), assemble them, and apply epoxy layers or any other finishing work. For now, let's say that unless there's an unusually high volume of orders, I'll have yours shipped within one week of when you place it. This turnaround time will improve as business picks up, as I'm planning to reinvest most of the revenue from my initial orders into one or more high-speed, high-quality 3D printers.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Once shipped (AFTER processing is complete!) most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service.

Can I place a custom order if nothing's exactly what I'm looking for?
At the time this store launches, I am adding and tweaking a number of features for the best possible user experience. When I started selling my lamps, EVERY order was a custom order. Right now, the best way to go about designing a custom Orb of your own is to contact me using the link on my store. I will reply with a detailed description of the many customization and personalization options available to you, and once we figure out what you're looking for I'll generate an invoice for you. I'm still familiarizing myself with the various ways products are defined on this site, but I hope to have a more professional and streamlined system worked out soon!

My Orb has some physical imperfections/oddities.
SOME slight inconsistencies across the surface of each product are inevitable, given the current process of creating them. While I'm heavily leveraging 3D printing to make my products as consistent and uniform as possible, producing them on a midmarket consumer-tier printer necessitates a balancing act between speed and output quality. As this storefront launches, it currently takes just over 20 hours to print one lampshade, 6-8 for a base, and 2-3 for a set of numbers, at what I deemed was the best possible quality within a reasonable timeframe. As I said in a previous question, I plan on upgrading to better hardware in the near future, and the machines I'm looking at can print at finer quality in a fraction of the time - not to mention I'll come out ahead by default just having more than one available at a time!
-
My Orb has little gaps around the numbers.
Due to inherent variations in the materials used, I had to allow slightly looser tolerances to fit the numbers into each lampshade, so it's not uncommon for tiny gaps to be visible when the lamp is illuminated - though I try to blend these out where I can in the process of applying surface coatings to the finished lampshade. Additionally, while the major components are 3D printed, please remember that the finished Orb is still assembled and finished by hand, and that hand is far from infallible. All that aside, if you put your favorite frequently rolled d20 under a magnifier or microscope until it was about the size of an Orb of Possibilities +1, you'd notice a lot of weird and interesting surface imperfections there, too, so I like to think I'm capturing that feeling to some extent.

My bulb died!
If your included LED bulb fails within thirty days of receiving your product, please contact me as described in the 'return policy' section below, and I will arrange for a replacement to be shipped to you. Beyond this period, a failed bulb may be replaced with any other A19 LED bulb with an E26 base (the "standard" household light bulb form factor in North America). DO NOT use ANY other type of bulb - incandescent, halogen, CCFL, ANY type other than LED - in your lamp, or you risk severely damaging or destroying it WITHOUT the option of a return or refund!

What is your return/exchange policy?
Per Storenvy:
"Note that if you send a customer the wrong item or a defective or counterfeit item, you are obliged to provide an exchange or refund regardless of your return/exchange policy. If you are not able to ship the item or it gets lost on the way to your customer then you need to refund it. As a general rule, if you made a mistake and did not deliver to the customer what they ordered then you need to either refund or allow an exchange or return, no matter your stated policies."As their policy states, I will offer a refund and return (as the situation dictates) in the event of an incorrect, lost, or defective item. Please contact me with your return/refund inquiry within thirty (30) days of receiving (or failing to receive) your product. Returns and refunds will NOT be offered in the event of accidental damage or of damage resulting from improper use, particularly the installation of any incandescent, halogen, or CCFL bulb. As stated above, a small number of visual imperfections are inherent to the creation of these products, and in addition to my own quality-assurance processes I have attempted to represent each lamp as faithfully as possible in the available product photos to ensure reasonable expectations of the received item. If you feel your particular product contains sufficient inconsistencies or imperfections to impede its utility or otherwise severely degrade your user experience, please contact me with your concerns as well as any demonstrative photos.
